After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we complete our check-out procedures and leave the hotel with our luggage, heading towards Rome, the capital of Italy. Upon arrival, our first stop is the Vatican, the smallest state in the world. This small state, consisting of St. Peter's Basilica and the square surrounding it, is a very important place of worship for Christians. In this important place where the Pope, the leader of the Catholic denomination, lives, we receive information from our guide about the construction process of the basilica, the square, its architects, important groups of statues on and inside the structure, the papal assassination, and many other significant topics. After taking photographs during our free time and completing our visit to the church if possible, we depart from the Vatican. Our next plan is a city tour of Rome. We start our walking tour at the Colosseum, where every stone you step on has a trace of history. After listening to the stories of this magnificent structure, where hundreds of people's lives came to an end, from our guide, we see the Roman Forum and reach Piazza Venezia at the end of our walk. This square, which is home to one of the most special structures in the city, the Vittorio Emanuele II monument, leads us to the Via Del Corso street, where we will see the Trevi Fountain (the Fountain of Love), the Four Prophets Monument, the Spanish Steps, and the Piazza del Popolo, which are just some of the sights we will visit during this tour. The city has such an important historical texture that it is possible to discover new details at every corner. After our walking tour, we have free time. It is highly recommended to taste the Italian gelato and handmade pasta, characteristic of Rome. Be sure to ask your guide where to find the best tiramisu in the city. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight stay will be at our hotel.
